On Thursday, 11 June he took part in a panel on the state of Cuban Studies today with Harvard professor Jorge Domínguez and chaired by the eidtor of Havan-based Temas magazine Rafael Hernández.

On Saturday 13th June he gave a paper at the panel entitled: Fifty Years of Revolution: Foreign Policy and Cuba's Place in the World
