The Ministry of Higher Education (MES) and the universities of the Republic of Cuba convene the community of professors, researchers, undergraduate and postsecondary students, as well as higher education administrators, leaders and officials of institutions, organizations and enterprises related to higher education to the 7th International Congress of Higher Education “Universidad 2010”.
With the central theme “The university for a better world”, the Congress ratifies the renewed commitment of higher education to its society and its time, and the leading role played by universities in the debate to find solutions to the problem of higher education and lifelong learning for all, with quality and relevance.
Since the first edition in 1998, our congresses have proven to be an ideal space for committed and plural discussions devoted to analyzing the most varied themes of the international agenda on higher education. More than 4000 delegates from all continents attended the 6th Congress held in 2008.
It will be a pleasure and a privilege to meet you in Havana in 2010.
