About IISC Events

The IISC has a mission to organise seminars and conferences by leading academics and intellectuals.

Starting with the first public seminar series in the autumn of 2007 with a presentation by the leading French intellectual Ignacio Ramonet, the IISC is committed to giving an ongoing opportunity for the general public and students alike to learn from and exchange views with experts on all matters relating to Cuba and its relationship with the wider world.

Part of the mission is to make the results of the seminars available to download from this website.

As the IISC grows, it shall be following up the seminar programme with an annual international conference, the first of which is scheduled to take place in 2009.
