
Dr Una Lynch joined the IISC in January 2009 as Honorary Research Fellow.
She is a nurse and midwife. She has worked for over 20 years in public health practice, education, policy and research in Ireland (North & South), Bolivia, Central America and Ghana.
She is currently employed in the School of Law at Queen’s University, as Research Manager for the Changing Ageing Partnership. In 2007 she completed a doctorate in governance (DGov) and her thesis is entitled "Public Health: why are the Cubans so successful."
