On 12th March 2008, Professor Michael Chanan, the UK's leading expert on Cuban film spoke at the International Institute for the Study of Cuba on the subject of ‘Screen memory in Cuban cinema’.
Professor Chanan, of Roehampton University, examined the theme of memory using excerpts from a selection of films.
More than 100 people attended the seminar held in the Henry Thomas Room, of the Tower Building in North Campus.
