Professor Patrick Pietroni
Patrick Pietroni, IISC Executive Director
Professor Patrick Pietroni, DSc (Hon), FRCP, FRCGP, MFPH. retired
from his post as Dean of General Practice in 2001. Between 1997 and 2002 he led
delegations of over 100 U.K. doctors to Cuba to undertake bilateral exchanges
between each country’s unique health care system. This culminated in a meeting
between the Cuban and British Ministers of Health. Professor Pietroni has
published widely on health matters and has been editor of two international
journals.
