Pat Wood

Pat Wood
Pat is a Principal Lecturer in Tourism at London Metropolitan University (LMU) and is a visiting professor in Europe, Asia, Caribbean and Cuba. She is a founder steering group member of the LMU International Research Institute for Culture, Tourism and Development (IICTD), and an associate of the LMU Caribbean Studies Centre. She is a representative on the All Party Parliamentary Group on Cuba, is a Canning House patron member, and a member of the Caribbean Council.
Pat has acted as an International Education Adviser to the Cuban Superior Education Ministry and organized the UK leg of the Cuban Ministers of Higher Education and Tourism fact finding European tourism education mission. She initiated The Universidad 2004 convention first tourism conference in Havana.
In 2007 Pat led the first international team delivering master classes in Cuba to tourism professionals for the Ministry of Tourism and Formatur.
